Šiaip pagal pirkimus tai cd nebuvo populiarus, visi tekstai klaikiai antiamerikietiški ir antikapitalistiški kaip ir vėliau beja pas Blur’us panašiai, iš singlų paminėti verta viena geriausių apskritai jų dainų “For Tomorrow”. “Sunday Sunday” ir “Chemical World” šiek tiek mažiau kabina, bet atsikūrimo ture taip pat grojami. Taip ilgai besišaipę iš amerikiečių muzikos galop patys nusprendė kažką panašaus sukurpti, daugiausiai pasisėmę iš tuo metu labai populiarių Pavement, na Song 2 buvo grunge parodija - kelių akordų Woooohooo šauksmas ir štai didžiausias hitas pavyko (tiesa Uk buvo didesnių). Šiaip jau albumas tikrai įdomus, jame yra vienas iš trijų tikrai blogų grupės singlų (On Your Own), bet galima rasti ir “Beetlebum” (kur niekas nežino ką tai reiškia), gitaristo G.Coxono vokalinį debiutą “You’re so Great”, taip pat šaunias balades “Strange News From Another Star” ir “Look Inside America”. Damonas pasikvietęs į pagalbą garsų britų animatorių Jamie Hewlett sugebėjo parduoti milijonus net neparodydamas savo veido. Grupės debiutas buvo self-titled, o albumas sukiojosi aplink elektro-pop bytus, laibą Albarno dainavimo ir nemažai hip-hopo.
